Hi, I’m Danilo.

Big ideas.
More belonging.

I’m exploring how we build schools where more people can learn, participate, and feel they belong. Here are some things I’m making, learning, and putting into practice.

The person behind the projects

A teacher’s experience.
A researcher’s curiosity.

I’m Danilo Giachini Ferro, a school psychology PhD student at UMass Amherst with a master’s in special education. My work has taken me through classroom teaching, educational assessment, and professional learning with educators.

I like understanding how the pieces fit together: a student’s experience, a relationship, a classroom, a whole school. That perspective shapes my path toward clinical practice and my interest in more inclusive learning environments.

This is where I share the work along the way—questions worth asking, explanations worth making, and resources that people can actually use.

I’m also developing ideas about building a second brain for study and research, alongside future learning materials for parents and caregivers. I’ll share them here as they become ready.
